Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade (IMT), Ebrahim Sheikh, visited the PGPIC booth and underscored the importance of completing the petrochemical value chain. “We must move towards downstream development to shift from selling raw materials to exporting high-value-added products, where PGPIC plays a crucial role,” he said. Sheikh added that PGPIC is well positioned to close existing gaps within the value chain as part of Iran’s Seventh Development Plan.
New F7000 Heavy Polyethylene Grade Unveiled
During a customer engagement session on the sidelines of the exhibition, Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company introduced its new heavy polyethylene grade, branded F7000, designed for hygienic, packaging, and agricultural applications. Company executives emphasized that customers are not merely buyers but strategic partners in enhancing quality and product development.

Foreign traders and customers, especially from Russia and China, had a strong presence on the third day of the exhibition. They explored PGPIC’s vast potential for trade and expressed readiness to expand collaboration, citing positive past experiences and recommendations from other international partners. Discussions opened the door to joint projects and broader business ties.
The 19th IranPlast International Exhibition, hosting more than 700 domestic companies and 67 foreign participants, includes 49 firms directly from China and India and 18 representatives from countries including South Korea, Taiwan, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Turkey.
