According to the company’s public relations office, the overhaul was originally scheduled for mid-October 2025. However, due to emergency maintenance on the cooling water line at Mobin Energy’s facilities, which required a two-week shutdown of Pars Petrochemical Company’s production units, the overhaul program was brought forward to September 12–October 7, 2025.
The overhaul includes full-scale maintenance of the ethylbenzene and styrene monomer units, as well as emergency repairs on the ethane recovery unit.
The company confirmed that the ethane unit will be restarted and resume production as soon as repairs on Mobin Energy Company’s cooling water line are completed.
This maintenance initiative is part of Pars Petrochemical’s strategy to ensure operational reliability, production sustainability, and safety compliance, while also addressing unexpected technical disruptions in cooperation with regional energy partners.
