In a landmark moment for the event, the Petrofin Grand Distinction was awarded for the first time—presented to Nouri Petrochemical Company and its CEO, Gholamreza Jamshidi, for exceptional performance across multiple innovation domains.
According to Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC), the following awards were presented:
- Innovation in Technical Services: Hashem Najafi Ardakani, Persian Gulf Mobin Energy Company, for upgrading insulation on steam lines and improving thermal efficiency of main headers.
- Innovation in Non-Technical Services: Mohsen Atash Zamzam, Non-Industrial Operations and Services Company of Mahshahr, for developing new customer-service digital platforms.
- Business Model Innovation: Mohammad-Javad Badri, Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company, for innovative feedstock-supply chain solutions.
- Green Innovation: Hassan Neshanzadeh Moghaddam, Bidboland Gas Refining Company, for the off-spec ethane zero-flaring project.
- Digital Innovation: Sephedar Ansari-Nik, CEO of Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company, for developing an integrated digital platform for monitoring feedstock, product and energy flows in the olefins complex.
- Product Innovation: Isa Norouzipoor, Khorasan Petrochemical Company, for domestic production of high-purity cyanuric acid derived from O.A.T. waste.
- Localization and Advanced Technologies:
– Mohammad-Reza Karimi, Arvand Petrochemical Company, for advanced resin material development for GDP pipeline applications.
– Hesam Khoshbinfar, Morvarid Petrochemical Company, for development and enhancement of superheater desuperheater valves.
- Process Innovation:
– Maziar Madooli, Shahid Tondguyan Petrochemical Company, for optimization and technology upgrade of vertical decanters.
– Mohammad Farsi, Carbon Iran, for redesigning thermal equipment and nozzles to improve process-efficiency performance.
- Top Innovation Project: Arghavan Gostar Ilam Petrochemical Company (Ashkan Dashtizadeh), with Mostafa Motadin of PGPIC Development Management serving as managing contractor.
- Innovative Manager Award: Gholamreza Jamshidi, CEO of Nouri Petrochemical Company.
