The opening ceremony of Iran Petrochem 2025 was held at the Kish International Permanent Exhibition Center with the participation of senior petrochemical executives, Hossein Afshin, Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, Ahmad Mahdavi-Abhari, Secretary General of the Association of Petrochemical Industry Employers, Hossein Hosseinzadeh, Chairman of PGPIC, Sorena Sattari, innovation and knowledge-based economy advisor, along with a wide range of managers from the petrochemical and banking sectors and leading Iranian manufacturing companies active in the industry.
During the opening ceremony, the Comprehensive Domestic Manufacturing Book was unveiled in the presence of the Vice President for Science and the Chairman of PGPIC. The publication has been compiled with the aim of documenting indigenous technological capabilities within the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Group and records the group’s domestic manufacturing and knowledge-based activities from its establishment through 2023. A second phase of the project is also planned.
Iran Petrochem 2025 will run for three days at the Kish International Conference and Exhibition Center, serving as a platform for showcasing domestic capabilities, fostering industrial cooperation and advancing localization in the petrochemical sector.
