According to the company’s public relations department, the overall progress of the project reached 50.7% as of October 4, with engineering progress reported at 87.5%.
As part of the project’s latest achievements, two twin storage tanks for butene-1, weighing a combined 128 tons, have been successfully installed on site.
These tanks, designed and manufactured by AzarAb Company of Arak, rely entirely on domestic technical expertise and production capabilities. They will be used to store butene-1, a co-monomer essential to the ethylene polymerization process in the production of high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
Project officials emphasized that the accelerated pace of construction reflects the company’s determination to meet the national timeline for completion and contribute to strengthening Iran’s downstream petrochemical value chain.
