According to the company’s Public Relations Office, the initial batch of cooling-water pipelines, featuring exceptionally large diameters and specialized technical specifications, has been delivered to the project site. The cooling tower, designed with 20 active cells, is the largest of its kind in the Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Economic Zone and will serve as a core component of the complex’s process equipment cooling system.
This shipment includes pipes ranging from 52 to 88 inches in nominal diameter, all of which have undergone protective external coating in accordance with the project’s technical requirements. Additionally, fabrication of two special-size pipelines—104 inches and 112 inches, the largest cooling-water lines in the region—has been completed and will be dispatched to the site following the coating process.
The arrival of these pipelines represents a critical step in advancing the project’s infrastructure development. According to the execution plan, installation and assembly of the cooling-water transmission lines will commence upon completion of piling operations for the cooling-tower structure.
Implementation of this project is expected to substantially increase cooling capacity for process units across the regional petrochemical industry, enhance production stability, reduce operational risks, and improve environmental performance throughout the Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Economic Zone.
