According to the company’s public relations office, this visit—ANCAN’s second technical mission to the complex this year—included in-depth discussions on operational and engineering matters related to the chlor-alkali unit. The two sides examined potential enhancements in equipment efficiency, improvements in electrolyzer performance, and solutions for eliminating process bottlenecks.
Cooperation between Arvand Petrochemical Company and ANCAN in recent years has played a significant role in resolving production challenges and optimizing the performance of critical operating units.
ANCAN is an active member of the China Chlor-Alkali Association, the World Chlorine Council, Euro Chlor, and the South American Chlorus Association. The company’s technical team comprises more than 60 specialists in R&D and engineering, including PhD and master’s degree holders, enabling the development of advanced electrochemical technologies.
In 2021, ANCAN’s ANC-series ion-exchange membrane electrolyzer technology received formal approval from the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, which recognized the technology’s design and coating processes as meeting leading international standards.
The continuation of this collaboration aligns with Arvand Petrochemical Company’s strategic program to modernize key technologies, enhance energy efficiency, and secure stable and sustainable production. It also supports the company’s broader initiative to strengthen technical partnerships with reputable global firms.
