According to the company’s public relations office, the new compressor train—comprising one low-pressure (LP) and one high-pressure (HP) compressor—was brought online through the continuous efforts of young specialists and exceptional coordination between operational teams, support units, and project contractors.
The commissioning of this additional train enables more than 40 million cubic feet per day of incremental gas to be sent to the Bidboland refinery. This substantial increase strengthens refinery feedstock supply, enhances production stability, supports the company’s strategic plans, and improves overall efficiency across the national gas-supply chain.
Rag Sefid-1’s dehydration and compression project is one of the most critical components of the large-scale East Karoun flare-gas recovery initiative. Its purpose is to reduce energy loss, increase feedstock-transfer capability, and safeguard the environment by sharply cutting gas flaring. Commissioning the third compressor train represents a major step forward in completing this national project.
This achievement, realized through round-the-clock dedication by expert and committed personnel, underscores the strong technical and operational capabilities of Bidboland and its contractors in delivering complex, high-impact industrial projects.
