According to the company’s public relations department, Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company has recorded significant growth in recent years by adopting development-oriented strategies and enhancing operational efficiency, a trajectory that led the complex to rank first nationwide in total production in 2024.
Ethylene, as one of the company’s strategic products, played a central role in this achievement. The Olefins Unit (Process Unit One) sustained daily ethylene output exceeding 1,200 tons continuously from Oct. 2 through Dec. 22, without interruption.
During this period, average daily ethylene production reached 1,227 tons, a level described as unparalleled throughout the plant’s operational history.
The successful realization of this record is attributed to close coordination and sustained collaboration among the company’s management, operations teams, and supporting units, whose collective efforts were instrumental in delivering this landmark performance.
