Seyyed Danial Sohrabi and Ali Ahmadi Vafa have officially joined the sports unit of Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company as part of the firm’s broader strategy to support national athletic talent and promote professional wrestling in Mahshahr, the company said in a statement.
The appointment reflects the company’s commitment to nurturing elite athletes, boosting local sporting infrastructure and reinforcing its role as a champion of community-based sports initiatives.
The company has in recent years invested significantly in athletics, including tennis, where its team has won the national championship for two consecutive years.
The head of Iran’s Wrestling Federation stated that with the current level of institutional backing and ongoing infrastructure development, Mahshahr is on track to become one of the country’s future wrestling hubs.
