Arvand Petrochemical Company has achieved a strategic milestone by localizing the 25DVX02 intercom amplifier, a device previously supplied exclusively by the German company Industronic. The amplifier plays a crucial role in Paging stations across sensitive processing units such as EDC/VCM and PVC, where reliable communication is directly linked to operational safety.
For years, equipment shortages and breakdowns had forced several communication stations out of service, creating safety risks and potential production disruptions. To address this challenge, Arvand Petrochemical Company’s technical team partnered with local knowledge-based company Navid Nasr Mobin, based in Khuzestan province, to reverse-engineer the amplifier, conduct functional testing, and resolve technical deficiencies.
The development process took about six months, ultimately resulting in a fully operational domestic model now in active service. The localization of the 25DVX02 amplifier is considered a strategic breakthrough, as any failure in this system could directly affect production safety by hindering emergency messaging and communication with control rooms.
Beyond technical benefits, the indigenization of this equipment reduces reliance on foreign suppliers, mitigates challenges posed by sanctions, lowers operational costs, and strengthens the resilience of the production chain. By enhancing industrial communication stability and safety, Arvand Petrochemical Comapny has taken a significant step toward building a more robust and sustainable petrochemical industry in Iran.
