According to the company’s public relations office, the evaluation session was held at the Arvand complex with the presence of the award’s assessment committee and senior managers of the company. During the session, Managing Director Mohammadreza Karimi presented the company’s recent innovation roadmap, outlining major projects in research, digital transformation, and AI-driven optimization of production processes.
Karimi emphasized the central role of knowledge and human capital in sustaining innovation, noting that continuous investment in education and capability building not only boosts operational efficiency but also ensures long-term value creation within the petrochemical value chain.
He added that Arvand’s innovation strategy focuses on product development, equipment localization, production digitalization, and the adoption of green technologies, all aimed at transforming the company into a technology-driven organization and a national innovation leader in the petrochemical sector.
Fozieh Marvat, Director of Strategy and Innovation Infrastructure at Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC), praised Arvand’s progress in research and technology compared to previous years. She noted that, given its diverse portfolio of projects, Arvand is expected to once again be recognized among the top innovators in the Mahshahr region and a key driver of technological advancement in Iran’s petrochemical industry.
The evaluation covered multiple categories, including product innovation, process innovation, digital and green innovation, local manufacturing, emerging technologies, business model innovation, knowledge-based innovation, and leadership in innovation.
The session was attended by Arvand’s managing director, heads of research and technology, operations, technical services, inspection, sales, process engineering, maintenance, and laboratory, along with numerous innovation project managers and experts.
