According to Petrol’s Public Relations Office, during a visit to the commercial production phase of polypropylene at Arghavan Gostar Ilam Petrochemical Company, CEO Hamidreza Khalili said the project is the first polypropylene production plant within the Persian Gulf Holding and a key link in Petrol’s value chain. He confirmed that commercial products will enter the market this month.
Khalili praised the efforts of project experts and employees, describing Arghavan Gostar Ilam Petrochemical Company as a symbol of synergy, precise planning, and trust in domestic capabilities. “This project demonstrates that the development path of Persian Gulf Holding is moving forward with strength,” he said.
Pointing to the company’s presence in the capital market under the symbol SharPilen, Khalili highlighted its strong value-creation potential due to high market demand both domestically and internationally.
He further announced that Persian Gulf Sadaf Petrochemical Company has reached 95% physical progress. “With the support of Persian Gulf Holding and the follow-up by Dr. Shariatmadari, the respected CEO of the holding, installation activities and handover of operational units from contractors are nearing completion. We expect full startup by the end of this year,” he noted.
During the visit, Vahid Namnik, Chairman of the Board, and Ashkan Dashtizadeh, CEO of Arghavan Gostar Ilam Petrochemical Company, presented updates on project progress and future plans.
Khalili and the delegation also toured the RO reverse osmosis project at Ilam Petrochemical Company and reviewed its latest status.
