According to the company’s public relations office, Persian Gulf Oil & Gas Development Company held its Annual General Assembly with the presence of shareholders, Mr. Rahimian Sarai (PGPIC Director of Assembly Affairs), and chaired by Mr. Mahmoud Rezaei, Acting Head of Financial Management at PGPIC.

During the session, Alireza Babazadeh, CEO of Persian Gulf Oil & Gas Development Company, presented the company’s performance for the year 1403 (2024–2025), noting significant progress despite the company's recent establishment. He stated that three upstream oil and gas development projects are currently underway, with all study phases progressing on schedule. These projects involve the development of the Marun (Khamis reservoir), Ahvaz (Fahliyan reservoir), and Kish gas fields.

Babazadeh emphasized that Marun and Ahvaz are technically challenging HPHT (High Pressure, High Temperature) fields, expected to supply stable feedstock to key petrochemical plants in Mahshahr. For the Kish gas field—due to its strategic importance—discussions are underway to potentially form a development consortium with the Mostazafan Foundation.
