According to the Public Relations Office Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company, the company has been conducting annual and continuous community satisfaction surveys since 2011 (1390 SH) to better understand stakeholder feedback and continuously improve its activities.
In 2024 (1403 SH), for the 13th time, the company assessed its performance for the previous year (2023) through a structured survey. The satisfaction target for 2022 had been set at 80%, and the actual result came in at 79.843%. In 2021, this figure stood at 78.782%.
For 2023, the satisfaction goal remained at 80%, and the actual overall satisfaction score was 78.71%. According to the results, satisfaction with Fajr's performance was 75.929% in the public sector, 60.974% in the governmental sector, and 80% in the environmental sector. The environmental domain received the highest satisfaction rating in the entire survey.
In the public sector indicators, the highest satisfaction was related to upholding values and human dignity, while the lowest score—70.68%—was recorded for awareness of future decisions and changes at Fajr that affect the public. This pattern was consistent with previous years.
In the governmental-support sector, the highest satisfaction again related to values and dignity, while the lowest—37%—was assigned to stakeholder awareness of upcoming decisions and changes, a trend unchanged from the previous year.
In the environmental section, the highest satisfaction—87.5%—was related to compliance with environmental laws and regulations, while the lowest—72.2%—concerned the company’s performance in collecting and treating regional wastewater. This pattern also matched last year’s results.
The survey was conducted among 27 organizations, with 135 questionnaires distributed. The response rate for the most recent survey was 33.3%.
According to the findings:
- 55% of respondents described Fajr as "reputable,"
- 35% as "very reputable," and
- 10% as "neither reputable nor disreputable."
Additionally:
- 64.4% rated the company's HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) initiatives as “good” or “very good,”
- 77.7% rated direct and indirect job creation in the region as “good” or “very good,” and
- 50% assessed awareness of future plans and company changes as “moderate to low.”
