According to the company’s Public Relations Office, Omid Azamian, the company’s CEO announced a significant production achievement.
“Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company was originally designed to process 5,200 tons of feedstock per day,” he said. “However, thanks to the relentless efforts of our dedicated staff, we have now exceeded 5,900 tons—and God willing, we will soon hit 6,000 tons per day.”
Azamian noted that the capacity increase over recent years, along with expanding feedstock and product handling, required special measures. “Our team implemented those measures efficiently, allowing us to deliver and sell products beyond design capacity—on time and without interruption.”
He emphasized the complex’s consistent and reliable performance: “Over the past few years, despite various operational challenges, we have managed to maintain uninterrupted production of diverse outputs throughout the year. Even when one or more of our units go offline, our contingency planning ensures seamless operations.”
Providing a recent example, Azamian added: “When Unit 400 was taken offline for two weeks for maintenance and hydrogen flow was interrupted, we were still able to continue operations at full capacity. In fact, during that period, we even exceeded our production levels compared to the same time last year.”
