BIPC has signed strategic agreements with Persian Gulf Hoveyzeh Gas Refinery and Almas Mahshahr Petrochemical Company to strengthen its feedstock supply chain and support upstream and downstream integration in the country’s petrochemical sector, the company said in a statement.
BIPC has financed upstream projects at Persian Gulf Hoveyzeh Gas Refinery through a pre-purchase feedstock agreement aimed at boosting the refinery’s output of C2+ feedstock.
The move is expected to enhance the refinery’s delivery capacity and increase feedstock availability for Bandar Imam’s production complex.
In a separate agreement, BIPC signed a four-part feedstock supply deal with Almas Mahshahr Petrochemical Company.
Under the contract, it will supply ethane, propane, butane, and pentane-plus — key inputs for Almas’s production operations. The deal marks a step toward bolstering industrial cooperation and ensuring a more stable and sustainable raw materials supply chain for Iran’s petrochemical industry.
BIPC said the agreements will help improve productivity and domestic production capacity, while also positioning the company as a major player in developing downstream industries.
