• Establishment Year: 1998 (1377 in the Persian calendar), in 2001 (1380 in the Persian calendar), the company's name was changed from "Khazar Clearance and Credit Documents Company" to "Petrochemical Terminals and Tanks Company". (The company's Articles of Association were also amended in the same year.)
• Ownership: Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company 16%, Petrochemical Transportation 16%, Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Investment Company (Tamin) 16%, Amir Investment and Stock Management 15.7%, Parsian Oil and Gas Development Group 15.7%, National Pension Fund Investment 15.7%.
• The Petrochemical Terminals and Tanks Company is responsible for operating two major ports of the National Petrochemical Company in the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone and Bandar Imam, as well as managing the petrochemical tank sites. The company handles the export of produced products, import of raw materials, and storage of products and raw materials.

Pars Petrochemical Port:

• Total Berths: 15 berths (6 liquid berths, 2 gas liquid berths, and 7 solid berths)
• Operational Start Date: Phase 1 of Pars Port: 2005 (1384 in the Persian calendar), full port: 2009 (1388 in the Persian calendar)
• Total Capacity: 35 million tons (29 million tons of liquids and gas liquids, 6 million tons of solids)
• Draft Depth: 15 to 32 meters
• Ship Docking Capability: Can accommodate ships with a capacity of up to 70,000 tons.

• Loading/Unloading Capacity: 170 to 2,250 tons per hour
• Annual Ship Traffic: 800 to 1,200 vessels per year
• Major Export Products: Butane, Propane, Methanol, Ammonia, Ethylene, Benzene, Light Cut, Heavy Cut, Styrene, Orthoxylene, Paraxylene, Polyethylene, Urea, Polypropylene, etc.

Mahshahr Petrochemical Port

• Total Berths: 7 berths (5 liquid and gas liquid berths, 1 solid berth, and 1 liquid berth under construction)
• Operational Start Date: 3 berths in 1969 (1348), 2 berths in 1990 (1369), 1 berth in 2004 (1383)
• Total Capacity: 15 million tons
• Draft Depth: 11 to 13 meters
• Ship Docking Capability: Can accommodate ships with capacity up to 50,000 tons
• Loading/Unloading Capacity: 150 to 1,600 tons per hour
• Annual Ship Traffic: Approximately 1,000 vessels per year

Mahshahr (Bandar Imam) Petrochemical Tank Site

• Total Tank Capacity: 157,200 cubic meters
• Operational Start Date: 2004 (1383)
• Individual Tank Capacity: 2,000 to 20,000 cubic meters
• Tank Material: Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel
• Tank Equipment: Some tanks are equipped with heating/cooling systems
