  • Establishment Year: 1998 (1377 in the Persian calendar), in 2001 (1380 in the Persian calendar), the company's name was changed from "Khazar Clearance and Credit Documents Company" to "Petrochemical Terminals and Tanks Company". (The company's Articles of Association were also amended in the same year.)

  • The Petrochemical Terminals and Tanks Company is responsible for operating two major ports of the National Petrochemical Company in the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone and Bandar Imam, as well as managing the petrochemical tank sites. The company handles the export of produced products, import of raw materials, and storage of products and raw materials.

  • Loading/Unloading Capacity: 170 to 2,250 tons per hour
  • Annual Ship Traffic: 800 to 1,200 vessels per year
  • Major Export Products: Butane, Propane, Methanol, Ammonia, Ethylene, Benzene, Light Cut, Heavy Cut, Styrene, Orthoxylene, Paraxylene, Polyethylene, Urea, Polypropylene, etc.

  • Total Berths: 7 berths (5 liquid and gas liquid berths, 1 solid berth, and 1 liquid berth under construction)

  • Individual Tank Capacity: 2,000 to 20,000 cubic meters
  • Tank Material: Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel
  • Tank Equipment: Some tanks are equipped with heating/cooling systems
