The meeting took place at the headquarters of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) in Tehran and was attended by representatives of shareholder companies, financial auditors, and executives from the holding group.
Ali Mohammad Mohammadi, CEO of Taftan Aria Petrochemical, presented the company’s 2024 performance report and outlined key milestones achieved in line with the company’s strategic objectives. He also provided an overview of the comprehensive Makran development plan for 2025, stressing Taftan Aria’s role in sustaining growth within Iran’s third petrochemical hub.
Senior officials from PGPIC, including Mahmoud Rezaei, acting head of financial management, and Morteza Rahimian Sarai, director of shareholder affairs, general assemblies, and investor relations, reviewed the company’s audited financial report and reiterated the holding’s support for Taftan Aria’s expansion in the Makran region.
Following the auditor’s unqualified report, the financial statements for the year ending March 2025 were unanimously approved by the shareholders.
Additionally, audit firm Hafez Gam was appointed as the company’s external auditor for the 2025 fiscal year, and Ettela’at newspaper was designated as the official publication for corporate announcements.
Taftan Aria Petrochemical, based in the Chabahar Free Trade Zone, is a key component of Iran’s long-term strategy to develop petrochemical capacity along the southeastern Makran coast.
