Speaking during his visit to the PGPIC pavilion at Hall 38B of the 29th Iran Oil Show, Nemati emphasized that whenever PGPIC has advanced, the broader petrochemical industry has followed with positive momentum.
“PGPIC has played a vital role in generating foreign currency revenue for the country and has helped resolve major national challenges over recent years,” he said.
While acknowledging the current imbalances and challenges faced by the petrochemical sector—particularly related to feedstock—Nemati expressed confidence in PGPIC’s capacity to lead solutions, especially in downstream industries.
He also highlighted the value of the leadership experience of Mohammad Shariatmadari, citing his past roles in the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade and the Ministry of Labor. “With these capabilities and management expertise, we expect PGPIC to deliver even greater value to the national economy through job creation and enhanced value-added output,” Nemati concluded.
