According to a statement from PGPDIG’s public relations office, Shariatmadari urged the subsidiary to lead PGPIC’s transformation in digitalization, financial engineering, and the redesign of internal control systems.
He identified PGPDIG as a pilot platform for implementing a fully integrated, automated financial system across the holding.
Highlighting the need to shift from traditional and periodic methods to data-driven, AI-powered tools, Shariatmadari described PGPDIG as a pioneer in technological governance and "neuro-software" capabilities. He stressed the importance of leveraging skilled personnel, advanced technologies, and strategic international cooperation—particularly in HSE and risk management—to enhance organizational effectiveness.
He also underscored that economic and socially responsible production should define the company’s impact, adding that administrative integrity, anti-corruption measures, process transparency, and continuous oversight are key to sustaining professionalism and accountability.
During the visit, Hamidreza Khalili, CEO of PGPDIG, called for the company’s return to the path of downstream development, stating that its long-term goal is to become the main developer of value-added petrochemical industries in Iran over the next five to seven years.
Mahamoud Aminnejad, PGPIC’s Vice President of Planning and Business Development, added that policy reform on feedstock and decision-making is necessary and proposed the formation of specialized committees focused on market strategy, technical know-how, and feedstock management.
