“PGPIC is a comprehensive group with high potential to prevent raw material exports and promote value-added production,” Bahrami said while visiting the holding’s booth at the Tehran exhibition. He added that recent leadership changes under Dr. Shariatmadari have revived optimism regarding the group’s development trajectory.
Bahrami, who represents Boyer-Ahmad, Dena, and Margoun in parliament, noted that some segments of the value chain had previously faced difficulties—both within PGPIC and across other holdings. However, recent sessions involving PGPIC, investment firm TAPICO, and the Energy Committee have led to constructive measures.
“The success of Persian Gulf Holding equates to national success in terms of higher per capita income, improved livelihoods, and job creation,” he stressed, reaffirming the Energy Committee’s full support for the group’s ongoing efforts.
