According to Farajollah Zamen, Executive Manager of Dehdasht Petrochemical, the project has reached 80% physical progress in the construction of its two main water pumping stations. Efforts are currently underway to complete the final stages of the system.
“This water transfer scheme is a vital prerequisite for the petrochemical plant’s sustainable production processes,” Zamen said in a statement released by the company’s public relations office.
The project includes a 16-kilometre pipeline designed to transport water from the Maroon River to the complex. Zamen also thanked local and national officials for their support and expressed hope that the system would become fully operational in the near future.
