The heat exchangers—shell-and-tube models—have a combined weight of approximately 145 tons and were fully designed and fabricated by a domestic knowledge-based firm, the Public Relations Office of Dehdasht Petrochemical Industries Company said.
This delivery marks another step forward in Iran’s broader strategy to localize key industrial equipment and reduce reliance on foreign suppliers. The deployment of locally built units also contributes to the on-schedule progress of the Dehdasht petrochemical complex, one of the country’s major development projects in the polyolefin sector.
