According to the company’s public relations department, the large-scale project was implemented in collaboration with local education authorities across several districts — including Behbahan, Aghajari, Zeydun, Tashan, Mansuriyeh, the Central District, and Julaki. The initiative has been hailed as one of the most comprehensive CSR efforts in Iran’s energy sector focused on education and community development.
A key component of the project was the renovation and furnishing of three boarding schools, which serve talented students from rural and remote areas who have passed entrance exams for elite public schools. These upgrades provide a safer and more comfortable learning environment, allowing students to focus on their studies and develop their potential.
One of the most notable outcomes of the initiative was the reopening of the long-inactive Dr. Hossein Fatemi School in Mansuriyeh. Previously closed due to inadequate facilities, the school has now been fully renovated and equipped, and will soon welcome more than 230 students back to class.
To mark the completion of this major project, official ceremonies were held on September 30 at several participating schools — including Shahid Sarallah and Movaheddah schools in Tashan District, and the Rasoul Akram Exemplary School in Behbahan. The events were attended by Bidboland CEO, the Member of Parliament for Behbahan and Aghajari, the city’s Friday Prayer Leader, local government officials, and representatives of the Ministry of Education.
By dedicating a significant portion of its CSR budget to education and research, Bidboland Gas Refining Company has reaffirmed its long-term commitment to sustainable community development. The company emphasized that “investing in education is an investment in the future,” underscoring the transformative impact of its social initiatives on the next generation.
